I ordered these from a different company for a friend who is on crutches so that she could get around during a recent ice storm. She was already using YakTrax for traction on the ice; The addition of these crutch tip ice grips made it possible for her to navigate her slick, steep driveway to her car and to make it from the icy parking lot to her office. They're worth the price and more in terms of fall prevention. They are sold one by one so that people who just need one for a cane don't have to buy two.

Because I live in the South, I cannot purchase ice grips for crutches in local medical supply stores What to do for my husband's upcoming business travel in the northern snow and ice?! I read the description saying "fits all standard size crutches." I made what I thought was a logical assumption--that I would receive a pair for my husband's crutches. Seemed perfect! When the package arrived (a week later than expected based on the date I was told they would ship), there was only ONE grip (for ONE crutch). I called the company and nicely explained that my husband needed these for an icy business trip 3 days later. I felt misled by the product description. I offered to pay for a second grip, but asked the company to pay overnight shipping. The best the company would do was to offer to pay one half of STANDARD shipping and to send to my husband's northern destination with the hope that it would arrive before he left. (Not a reasonable hope based on the shipping time of the first order.) I was very disappointed with the service and attitude at the company.
