 Universal cane holder pretty good, not great May 13, 2007

This little holder works well but it could be better. One problem is that it's made to fit a cane no larger than 1-inch in diameter. I have several different canes and all of them are larger than 1-inch. So the holder doesn't fully wrap around all of the cane, which can cause it to slide up or down when you hang the cane on the table. And it's very difficult to pull open to put on the cane in the first place. I think it's safe to assume that most people who use canes might also have a general loss of strength so it should be easier to attach the holder to the cane. Despite these two annoyances, the cane holder works well and I'm glad I have it because my cane stays put instead of falling on the floor all the time like it used to.

This is an excellent add on for any walking cane and gives you the ability to keep track of your cane by hanging it on a table or counter next to yourself.
I like it, and miss it when using my backup cane... I'll be buying another.
