Ease of use makes Pikstik outshine other grabbers available. With its unique pre-locking mechanism, you simply press down on the locking lever before grabbing your item and the jaws stay locked until you release them. This is so much easier then trying to grab and then lock. This reacher also has an easy to use rotating head so you can line up the jaws with the handle, or at a 90 degree angle. With the jaws in line with the handle (up and down) it is easy to reach behind things, like your washer or fridge. Perfect leaf grabber! December 30, 2008
I bought this so I could fish leaves out of my pond without tramatizing the fish with a net. It's perfect! Nice, long, waterproof. I really like how you can adjust the gap opening: it can open fully or only halfway, and when only halfway it requires much left squeezing of the handle. This makes it very easy and comfortable to pick up lots of little things without your hand getting tired.

I have a couple hard to reach / access spots around the house and this gives me access without moving 'things' or contorting myself. Handy... Probably handles up to 5-6 lbs. - God bless...

We use this in our walkin closet as it is has a vaulted ceiling and we have a 3rd tier of clothing. It works great to grab the hangered item and remove it from the rod or to put it back.
