Great tool for the handicapped. A problem picking up the morning paper delivered in a plastic bag was overcome with a minor modifaction to the slippery tips.
Has a little "glitch" to it August 25, 2008
I use this for picking up trash around the neighborhood. Although I like the design, as I pick up trash, the lock starts to engage and then I have to stop and unlock it before I pick up more trash. I think it is a little glitch in the product.

this product is a live saver.I just had back surgery and would not know how to function with out it.You can even pick up a pennt with it.

I have had several other similar devices and this is the best. The rotating clamps are thoughtful and the construction is better than most. Perfect height for me (I'm 5'11"_
Great for short people July 8, 2008
This is about the 8th PikStik I've purchased. I've given them for presents and to my elderly parents and in-laws. Everyone loves them, they help to reach things from hard-to-get places and from high shelves. We now have 3 in our house, one on the main floor, one in our basement and one in the garage. They're great outside too, for instance, if you're trimming branches off a tree, you can used the PikStik to pick up the branches and put them in the container. I've also used it to decorate trees with lights at Christmas. Sometimes I wish I had one in every room!
