 Need a little help? December 16, 2008
My husband is paralized and in a power wheelchair, we put this handy fold up reacher in the tie down bracket on the front left side of his chair. It works like a holster, and folded up the reacher looks like a gun. He will kiddingly say, when we get him up, "give me my trusty gun." He has other reachers, but he can't take them with him like he can the fold up. He uses it alot. Says it's as handy as a handle on a slop bucket. Now that dates us doesn't it?

I have owned this product for over 10 years & it has been so useful. I use it to get things from upper shelves in the cabinets, pick things up off the floor, as well as outside in the yard to pick up twigs & trash. For anyone with any kind of mobility issues this is a definite must-have. It is a very well-made product--I have had no problem with any breakage, etc. even after so many years use. I gave a significantly higher price for mine at a local store so I was thrilled to find an identical one at such a reasonable price. I recently purchased this one for a cousin who also has mobility issues & she loves it, too. A big thumbs up for this product!
