Great product at a great price. Have used the coconut water plain and in smoothies and other drinks. I wasn't sure if I like the taste of it plain at first, but now I really enjoy it. The flavored varieties are also good. I've ordered the variety pack to try different flavors.

I love coconut water and have had to take a machete to lop off the top to get to it. This is good. It is almost as good as the O.N.E. Coconut Water, 11-Ounce Aseptic Containers (Pack of 12) also sold on Amazon. It has a very natural taste as if it has never been in a container. Read the product features above and you can see not only is this product all natural, but good for you. It will quench your thirst, hydrate you and help promote smoother, more hydrated skin. I would drink it again, but for coconut water, I prefer the other brand but this comes in a very close second!

It took me a little while to get used to the taste, but now I like drinking it. It's not so sweet like sugared drinks so it clenches my thirst even more than Gatorade. And I like the fact that it isn't carbonated like pops and sodas. AND BEST of all I can drink it knowing how good it is for my health. I'm going to order more!
Great alternative to fresh young coconuts or sports electryolyte drink November 22, 2008
I am a Body Ecology Coach and the 'stars' of the Body Ecology Diet are probiotic rich, cultured foods such as Young Coconut Kefir and Cultured Vegetables.
We make the YCK (Young Coconut Kefir) from probiotic starters and the juice - the water from YOUNG coconuts. This is a very important part of the diet as many people find that it helps tremendously to help them with their sugar & carb cravings and helps to restore the gut's inner ecobalance by recolonizing the gut with healthy beneficial probiotics.
Sometimes finding fresh young white THAI coconuts is a challenge. If you do find them, like other fresh produce, they can be old and mildewy or they can cost a fortune since there is a wide range price on them (.69 cents to $5.00 EACH). Because the juice content varies between each coconut (think of a juicy apple vs a drier apple), it can take a person 1-3 fresh coconuts to make 1 quart of young coconut kefir.
That's where these wonderful pre-packaged containers full of young coconut water come in handy for those of us who love Young Coconut Kefir!
Although packaged coconut water does not taste as sweet and fresh as FRESH young coconut water, it still tastes good, is very refreshing, contains MORE electolytes (especially potassium) than any sports drink out there, is all natural and of course, is SO easy to access by pulling the 'sticky tab' back rather than cracking a hard fresh coconut by hand! Not to mention they keep longer than fresh coconuts.
Young Coconut water is a GREAT and much HEALTHIER alternative to any sports drink, juice drink full of unhealthy syrups such as high fructose corn syrup and especially sodas. They taste much better cold and is even more refreshing with some freshly squeezed lime juice in them.

I have had some great coconut water. I have had it straight from the source and packaged. It is usually sweet and wonderful. This is *NOT*! This tastes like fermented juice of some sort that doesn't even resemble coconut. It's sour and bitter. I drank a couple of these hoping to get used to the taste but couldn't. I don't have anything positive to say about this drink, so 1 star it is. I am very disappointed.
