5 out of 5 stars Joy is Now Affordable AND Portable   August 25, 2007

I've had my Dasher 3 for more than 2 years and love it! The seat is comfortable thanks to the arm rests and pivot features. It comes apart and goes back together in under one minute. The tiller steering and paddle accelerator are easier for me to use than a joystick. If I needed a wheelchair, I'd get one, but having the option of a scooter in my trunk at all times is the most amazing comfort. Now, if I start to fade, or know I will have to do a lot of walking, I don't worry: I just pop open my trunk, grab my ShopRider and zoom through the mall, the park or the streets. Such freedom! Any complaints? Well, it could be faster, and the charging lights are not marked (does red mean stop charging or stop going and get a charge?) Otherwise, for the money, it would be difficult to beat this zippy, portable, life giving, joy returning, fun to drive little scooter.

5 out of 5 stars UBER SCOOTER   December 13, 2006

This scooter is incredibly portable.
It comes assembled and is a breeze to get going.
I live in a small 1BR apartment and the turning radius is scary in it precision.
It also has a sleep function to conserve battery power.
Dasher shames Pride scooters.
I am in my 40's and not ready to look like grandpa, yet.
This stylish scooter, selling for twice as much at a med supply in L.A., is a hip, sturdy winner.
