The Listen Up sound amplifier does not work. I followed the instructions EXACTLY but all I could hear was static. It's a waste of money.

Wow this thing is awesomely powerful. Im serious. The commercial is right! If I put these in when watching the TV, I can really hear the TV! Its super sensitive! Its kinda annoying at times. Like when Im trying to sleep, and my wife wakes up in the middle of the night and has to use the lil girls room and I hear every puff of angryness echoing throughout the toilet bowl. Be warned, its scary, but I heard the heart beat of my unborn child inside my wifes tummy! I havent even thougth of going near that area of her since I met her! Its like I can hear into the future.
I hear you will be buying this soon.

Amplifies EVERYTHING, including background noise. Also unless held totally still, amplifies sounds of touching the unit (static) and any slight air movements (whoosh). (Can't have fans in room, can't have open doors to outside, can't have any one even walk by, or you cannot hear.)

I threw the Listen Up away the day I received it. It wasn't worth the hassle to return it. The microphone is attached to the ear plugs (it should be separate so it can be placed next to the TV speakers), and it amplifies everything in the room, not just the TV. Dreadful product. I ordered a more expensive product with a separate microphone... I'll let you know how it works...

This product works great on anything far away. I purchased this so the TV could be turned down as my parents keep it very loud. They heard conversations all over the house, some outside, but not on anything close by, especially the TV. Non-useful.
