Excellent buy in every way - the best walker also - our second October 24, 2008
Swedish designed and possibly made, this walker is the Volvo of walkers - comfortable, sturdy, and solid. When you want the best for your Mom or Dad or loved one with walkers, this is one that should be considered. Buying it on this site was much less $ than in local stores.

Bought this for a relation who needed to get around. After hearing from other friends who had similar devices and seeing this one in use in an outpatient office, decided this was best buy for money. The 3 wheeled ones were only marginally stable, and the external cables tended to get caught on furniture, door knobs, etc.. Assembly was easy , and adjustment was easy to do. The transition from bending over looking with the old walker to upright walking using the easy height adjustment with this unit is going well. Only complaint is need for a bigger seat since she does not perch well.

When I first saw this walker I was intrigued by it's unique appearance and style. My mother recently had ankle replacement surgery and we got the Avant walker for her. SHE LOVED IT! She felt safe and in control from the first time she used it. Even her surgeon inquired as to where to find it and now enthusiastically recommends it to his "mobility challenged" patients. Thank you ETAC and Amazon for this amazing product!

The Etac Avant four wheeled walker with flip-down seat, basket and cane holder is extremely safe and sturdy. The front wheels revolve around a center post and with the large wheels, mobility is smooth with sufficient support to ambulate with near normal gait pattern.
